Can Cats Eat Petroleum Jelly. My cat LOVES petroleum jelly Vaseline. Check wa vet of course but i think vaseline is safe.
The petroleum jelly itself is far from ideal when it comes to long-term treatment. Shell lick it from my finger the Convenience Size tube or tub-jar in seemingly insatiable quantities. If there is no reasons that the string or yarn is hung up somewhere in the intestinal tract the petroleum jelly should help the string or yarn to pass in your cats stool.
Youd be better off blending some cayenne pepper with Vaseline for discouraging your pet from chewing on furniture and shoes.
Do not give the cat mineral oil. Vaseline or petroleum jelly is perfectly safe for cats externally. Similarly paraffin oil is a mineral oil with laxative effects so eating vaseline will likely have a laxative effect on you. You can watch my instructional video for felines and humans here.
