These mites can cause significant inflammation and swelling in the ear canal and are very itchy. If your cat has mites she wont initially show any signs but you can always observe tiny coffee grounds like creatures inside the ears. Never ever ignore any signs visit your vet and treat ear mites with vets.

Initially s cat may not show any symptoms at all but in heavy infestations or during advanced stages of the disease a brown or dark waxy discharge is noted on the skin and lesions may appear at margins of the cats ear.
